Setting out a stall for Kavex

Sales of a UPVC range of textured cladding have soared for a Portsmouth Kestrel distributor thanks to an innovative counter display.

Francis Sheet Sales in Farlington used Kestrel’s Kavex range to clad their new trade counter and have seen sales of the cladding double.

The company’s sales director Lisa Russell said demand for Kavex had gone through the roof since they showcased it on the counter.

“Without doubt the popularity of this range of UPVC Kavex textured cladding products has been incredible and I would estimate a sales increase of 100 per cent compared to last year,” she said.

“The coloured, textured effect is really eye-catching, so we’re having a very positive response from our customers. The sand and blue colours are particularly popular.”

The Kavex range of decorative UPVC cladding, available in both shiplap and featheredge versions, comes in five colours with a range of colour matching trims all in stock items.

It comes in a 300mm width and a more traditional 150mm shiplap option, while the featheredge version comes in a 270mm width.

Kestrel divisional manager for the south, Darren Dow said: The Kavex textured UPVC cladding range is proving to be extremely popular with both speculative house builders and installers.

“Kestrel has always been at the forefront of product innovation in the UPVC roofline industry and this is another example of how we can bring value-added products to our customers”.

The brand holds the BES6001 standard for responsible sourcing, has Kitemark KM 606759 and meets the ISO9001 and ISO14001 quality standards.
