The management and all who work at Kestrel-BCE are committed to the care of the environment and the prevention of pollution.
The organisation ensures that all its activities are carried out in conformance with the relevant environmental legislation (and any guidance issued by Trade Associations). The organisation observes any specific local or site requirements laid down by North Lincolnshire County Council, (OR the Environment Agency).
The organisation seeks to minimise waste arisings, promote recycling, reduce energy consumption, reduce harmful emissions and, where possible, to work with suppliers who themselves have sound environmental policies.
An essential feature of the environmental management system is a commitment to continually improve environmental performance. Continual improvement is achieved by setting environmental improvement objectives and targets, which are regularly monitored and reviewed. The objectives and targets are publicised throughout the organisation and all staff are committed to their achievement.
In order to ensure the achievement of the above commitments, the organisation has implemented an environmental management system which satisfies the requirements of BS EN ISO 14001:2004. This Policy and the obligations and responsibilities required by the environmental management system have been communicated to all employees. The Policy is available to the public on request.
