Kestrel helps Children in Need by donating products to Norris Green Youth Centre in Liverpool

SIG supports the local community!

Cladding and Fascia Supplies has held a long standing reputation for over 20 years in Liverpool providing great service to its customers; so when Dave at Rhino Windows and Doors started work with the team from the BBC’s DIY SOS program he knew Paul Wareing Branch Director of CFS was exactly the person to call on for support.

The project of a complete refurbishment of the Norris Green Youth Centre is set to be one of the largest achievements so far. Over 100 metres of Blackgrain Fascia and Soffit were required to replace existing roofline down the complete run of both sides of the building along with the arched gable ends to the rear.

Kestrel Building Products part of Latium Building products, a leading manufacturer of PVC Roofline where only too happy to join in the effort which is set to support young people in the area.

On visiting the site with Mike Payne (Kestrel) and Kevin Newey (SIG Roofline); Sarah McCartney (SIG Roofline) commented that ‘the buzz of activity from all the volunteers provided by the fire service, local police, local businesses and the BBC crew was amazing to see and great to be part of. Everyone was happy to go that extra mile to support the community.’

Information was passed to the BBC team which will hopefully provide SIG with further opportunities to support them in the future.

The Norris Green Youth Centre was opened in September 2011 and will form part of the Children in Need Event to be shown on BBC 1 in November 2011
