Kestrel unveils new Scottish signing

Leading building products manufacturer Kestrel has scored a new signing in Scotland.

The PVC-U and PVC-UE building products company has added newly expanded Colin Tough Joinery in Aberdeenshire to its team of distributors.

The joinery, based in Kintore, Inveneurie, will now fit and distribute Kestrel products.

With a new showroom and trade counter, the family business celebrated its re-launch with an open day that included an appearance by Aberdeen F.C. vice-captain Mark Reynolds, who signed autographs at the event.

Heather Tough, who works alongside her husband Colin in the firm, said the re-launch had been a great success.

“We held the open day to show off our showroom and let people find out more about the new trade counter,” she said. “Having Mark come along, made it all the more special.”

Heather went on to explain why they had chosen Kestrel products: “Over our years as a joinery and fitting fenestration products, we have built a reputation for quality.

“We discovered a growing demand for cladding, so as we moved into roofline and offering a trade counter, we wanted a product that we could be confident would work well for our customers.”

Kestrel’s business development manager in Scotland Graeme MacQueen, said: “We are proud to have Colin Tough Joinery come on board as both an installer and distributor.

“This is a family business that stakes its reputation on the quality of its products and services, so it’s a real honour to be working with Heather and Colin in such an exciting time.”

Kestrel recently launched its latest Installer Brochure to show its full range of products, from soffits and fascia boards, through to its Kayflow guttering, window boards and Kavex textured cladding products.

The brochure is one of a wide range of product and technical guides, all of which are available for instant download from the website.
