Mak joins Kestrel as registered installer in Rotherham
Leading UPVC building products manufacturer Kestrel has welcomed Rotherham-based Mak joinery Ltd as its latest registered installers in the region.
Mak’s joiners and installers are currently undertaking their NVQ training in roofline installation, ensuring they can offer a 30-year guarantee on white profiles when they install Kestrel products.
Mak will be sourcing Kestrel’s UPVC roofline products via local Rotherham supplier Scot-Plas.
According to Mak director Dale Mortimer, the move on their part is in response to a growing call for UPVC products in the Rotherham area.
He said: “We’ve been very impressed with Kestrel products and the training process is very straightforward. We are now looking forward to being able to offer Kestrel UOVC roofline products to our customers.”
Kestrel has built a reputation for product development, working with its suppliers and installers to manufacture products to meet the demands of an expanding market.
The UPVC building products Bcompany’s business development manager David Maybank said: “It’s great to have Mak coming on board as a registered installer in Rotherham.

Kestrel works in partnership with its customers to offer one of the widest product ranges in the market place.
The Lincolnshire-based UPVC cladding, fascia and window-line manufacturer recently announced significant developments and investments, including £350,000 in new tools to improve efficiency and quality on the company’s K16 and 605 ranges for all colours and a further £150,000 on refurbishment of machinery.
The company also revealed that it is developing will a fully integrated IT system that will provide better management information and lead to better service for the customer and make the business more efficient.
