Managers celebrate 25 years at Kestrel

Two Kestrel staff are starting 2012 with celebrations, having both reached achieved their career quarter century working for the UPVC building products manufacturer.
 

Kestrel, one of the world’s largest manufacturers of UPVC roofline products, has earned a reputation for investing in its staff and being eager to promote talent within the company.  Business development manager Mike Payne and sales office manager Linda Mawby are typical examples of those who have started at Kestrel at entry positions and flourished within the company.

Linda, who began at the company as a payroll/ purchase ledger clerk explained that the people and continual focus on improvement at Kestrel made it a very special place to work. “Over the years Kestrel has changed for the better, the company is always looking at ways to improve service quality and delivery, which makes my job easier,” she said.
  

Mike who started his career as a warehouse supervisor has seen the company move from privately owned to PLC and back again also believes that good staff are Kestrel’s secret ingredient. He described the UPVC building products company as ‘caring and customer focused’.

 
Those 25 years have also marked significant progression for Kestrel as a company, seeing it develop into a global brand in the field of UPVC fascias, cladding and window-line products.
